Butt shaking hasn't taken long to become one of the most famous dance moves in the world. It is provocative, sexual, and attracts the attention of other people. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to do this step naturally. Sometimes it takes a few lessons and a little practice.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Wiggle Your Butt Like Beyoncé

Step 1. Get into the correct position
Separate your legs for a distance similar to the width of your shoulders, bend and relax your knees a little. Roll your shoulders back and arch your back a little so that your butt sticks out. Don't stick your butt out on purpose, as that will happen naturally when you arch your back.

Step 2. Tuck your butt under your pelvis
Now your lower back should form a straight line. In other words, your lower back should be about 90 degrees (it should not be bent forward or back). However, your shoulders should go slightly forward and your knees should remain bent.

Step 3. Get your butt out again
As you do this, roll your pelvis back in circular motions. Arch your lower back and bring your chest forward and shoulders back. With this you should make your butt stand out. Practice bringing your hips back in circular motions, if necessary.

Step 4. Repeat this movement
To start, your hips should be at a 90 degree angle. Then arch your back and bring your hips back in circular motions. Start slowly to learn the technique below well and then increase your speed little by little. Try to do this wiggle as fast as possible without messing up the shape.

Step 5. Move your arms
Beyoncé's bobbing is characteristic because it includes a simultaneous movement of her arms. To learn this move well, start by putting your arms at chest level, with your elbows bent at a 45-degree angle and the inside of your wrists in front of you. You should make a fist with your hands, but not too tight. When you stick your butt out, spread your arms a little and bring your chest forward. When you tuck your butt back under, bring your arms back and stick your shoulders forward. Continue with the simultaneous movement.

Step 6. Do a jump (optional)
Sometimes Beyoncé jumps up to do her wiggle. If you want to do this, stand and spread your feet about shoulder-width apart. Then just take a small leap forward and immediately start shaking your butt in the manner already described. Try to do this move after you've mastered the other steps.
Method 2 of 3: Wiggle Your Butt While Squatting Down

Step 1. Stand with your feet apart by a distance similar to the width of your shoulders
This will help you to have a good base so that you don't end up falling while you wiggle. Put your feet firmly on the ground and distribute your weight evenly on the front and back of the feet. Make sure you adopt a stance that is wide enough. The wider the stance, the more stability you'll have while dancing.

Step 2. Squat down
Your back should remain straight and vertical. Don't lean too far forward or backward. Bend your knees and lower yourself, but make sure you maintain stability. You should not feel like you are about to fall.
This is the center position for this bobbing style

Step 3. Roll your hips back and forth in circular motions
The actual movement of the bob is just moving your hips back. However, it's okay to know what it feels like to move your hips both ways, so that you can tell if you're doing it correctly. Practice moving your hips forward and then back. Keep your torso straight while doing it.
Moving your hips back is what allows your butt to wiggle. This is an isolated movement. So it just consists of bringing your pelvis back. If you are not used to this movement, you will have to practice bringing your hips back, as it is essential for this form of bobbing. Basically shaking your butt is about bringing your hips back

Step 4. Place your hands on your knees
This is done primarily for a matter of style. However, you can also do this to stabilize yourself when you start to move. Don't lean forward while doing this because your back should be straight.

Step 5. Bring your hips back
Start in the main position and then move your hips back. Go slowly at first, until you get the hang of it. You can bring the weight to your heels as you do this. Then move your butt faster. Now you know how to shake your butt. Practice a lot, until you get the hang of it.
Method 3 of 3: Wiggle Your Butt While Leaning Forward

Step 1. Stand with your legs apart by a distance similar to the width of your shoulders
This will give you a strong base so that you do not end up falling, since you are going to redistribute the weight of your body. Your feet should be about shoulder-width apart and should be parallel to each other. Make the balls of your feet face forward.

Step 2. Swing from side to side
Swing your hips from left to right. Repeat this until you get used to it. This is simply so that you understand the basic movement that you will perform.
This is a preparatory step to learning how to wiggle your butt

Step 3. Turn from one side to the other
Increase your range of motion as you rock from side to side and twist back and forth. Roll your hips back and forth. As you turn, let your buttocks loose. Don't squeeze them. Turn quickly and you will feel your buttocks collide with each other or jerk.
This is an isolated movement, so you should only move your pelvis. Don't turn your back

Step 4. Decrease range of motion when turning
Instead of turning as in the previous step, do it to a lesser extent, so that you do not stop moving, but you manage to reduce the range by half. However, keep turning at the same speed that previously made your buttocks jerk.
- It shouldn't look like you're spinning, even though you do.
- You must keep your knees totally firm when doing this.

Step 5. Get down
Spread your feet about shoulder-width apart and squat down at a 90-degree angle. Then keep turning while still limiting the range of motion, as before. Keep shaking or spinning quickly and repeat for as long as you like.
Don't let your arms hang down. You don't want them to look like streamers while you bob. Bend them at a 90 degree angle
Advice
- Everyone dances better to the music they enjoy. Dance to a tune with a beat that you can easily follow and that encourages you to dance. Latin music and hip-hop often have the most appropriate butt-shaking rhythms.
- Just have fun and be natural when moving.
- Keep your body completely relaxed so the movement looks natural. Your knees should be slightly bent so that you can support the movements.
- Practice the movements in front of a mirror so that you can pay attention to what works and what doesn't.
Warnings
- You may not be able to shake your butt, even with practice, but don't be mad at yourself.
- You may need to stretch before you start overly forceful movements. As with any exercise, you can tear a muscle or suffer another type of injury.
