Learn how to write a story for a movie with these steps.
Steps

Step 1. Supplies
You must gather everything you will need to write this story. You should have pens, pencils, paper, an eraser, and a pencil sharpener.

Step 2. Think
You must sit down and let your imagination flow. You must imagine how you want your story to be.

Step 3. Decision
You have to make a decision and decide what kind of story you want to write. If they already gave you the plot of the movie, then start writing based on that.

Step 4. Make the story
You have to build the story from the beginning. If you want ideas, then you should read a few books that relate to the plot of the movie. This will give you an idea of what to write.

Step 5. Eraser
You should write a draft of the story. You should review it and decide if it is what you wanted. If it's not what you wanted, then write another draft.

Step 6. Criticisms
You must show your draft to people you trust. Ask them to read it and tell you what they liked and didn't like about the story. This way you will know what you can correct or what looks good.

Step 7. Sample
You must write many pages for your story. You should have a sample with you to show other people. This will give the people you are working with an idea of how the story you are writing is going.

Step 8. Edit
After you've finished the story, you can check it over and over again for errors. If you are going to receive income for your story, you can take it to an editor for review. If you know of a professional who can review your story for free, then go ahead.

Step 9. Call
You should call all the important people you are working with, or want to work with. Tell them you've finished your story. Schedule a meeting and ask them to read your story.
Advice
- Don't be discouraged if your draft receives criticism. This comes naturally when making history.
- It takes a long time for you.
- Save your drafts and write from them when you're ready.
