Can't find the wrench to remove the lock nuts? Here are the steps you must follow to remove the locknuts without using the wrench. So you can save money on the trailer!
Steps

Step 1. Check the glove compartment, center console, trunk (trunk), and even under the seats to make sure the lug wrench is not there
It could also be under the spare tire.

Step 2. Take a set of socket wrenches and check which size matches your lug nuts
Usually the one that matches is the number 12 wrench. There are special wrenches designed to remove locknuts.

Step 3. Use the socket wrench that is one measurement smaller than the one in the previous step and place it on top of the locknut

Step 4. Take a mallet and use it to hit the wrench that you placed on the nut

Step 5. When you have successfully inserted the socket wrench into the locknut, use the socket wrench to remove the locknut

Step 6. Repeat these steps if necessary
Advice
- Make sure you don't hit the edge of the rim.
- Contact your dealer to ask for the wrench if the locknut was factory installed. When you contact the seller, ask if they have a set of locknut master wrenches. So you can order the correct key. If you bought the lug nut from an auto accessories store, you will need to find another way to remove them.
