3 ways to search by image in google

It's the camera icon to the right of the search bar in the middle of the page.

If you want to find images that match a certain word or phrase, simply type that word or phrase in the search bar and press ↵ Enter to see the image results

Step 3. Select a photo upload option

Click on one of the following images:

• Paste the image URL- Click this tab if you copied the image's web address earlier. To copy an image's web address, open the image, click the address bar at the top of the window to select it, and press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ Command + C (Mac).
• Upload an image- Click this tab if the image you want to use is stored on your computer.

Step 4. Upload your photo

Depending on the option you have selected, this step varies:

• Paste the image URL- Click the search bar, press Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ Command + V, and click Search by image.
• Upload an image: click Locate file, locate and click the image you want to use, and then click To open.

Step 5. Review the search results

If your photo exists on the Internet, you will see different sizes and versions of the photo; if not, Google will find images that look similar to the one you uploaded.

Method 2 of 3: Use Google Chrome on a mobile device

Step 1. Open Google Chrome

Press the red, yellow, blue and green icon of the Chrome application.

Step 2. Press the search bar

It's at the top of the screen.

• If you don't see the search bar, first tap + in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 3. Enter your search term

Type the word and phrase for which you want to search for an image, and then tap To go (iPhone) or Enter or ✓ (Android).

Step 4. Click on the PICTURES tab

It's at the top of the tab, just below the search bar. This will display all the image results for your search.

Step 5. Select an image to use

Tap an image that you want to use as the basis for your search. The image will open.

Step 6. Press ⋮ below the image

This will open a pop-up menu.

• Tap on ⋮ in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 7. Click Search by image

It's in the drop-down menu.

Step 8. Review the results

You should see a list of the same (or similar) images on this page.

Method 3 of 3: Use Google Chrome on a Desktop Computer

Step 1. Open Google Chrome

It is a red, yellow, blue and green sphere.

Step 2. Click on the address bar

This is at the top of the Chrome window. Doing this will select the content of the address bar.

Step 3. Enter your search term

Type the word and phrase for which you want to search an image, then press ↵ Enter.

Step 4. Click on the Images tab

You'll see this option near the search bar near the top of the page. This will display all the image results for that search.

• If you don't see Images, click Plus at the far right of the row of tabs, then click Images in the drop-down menu that appears.

Step 5. Select an image you want to use

Click on an image that you want to use as a search. The image will open.

Step 6. Click Search by image

This link is under the image title to the right of the gray box.

Step 7. Review the results

You'll see a list of the same (or similar) images on this page.
