Steps
Method 1 of 4: On an iPhone or iPad

Step 1. Open

Setting.
This application is located on the home screen.
These steps also work for the iPod Touch

Step 2. Press Wi-Fi
It is one of the first options on the "Settings" page.

Step 3. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the "on" position
If the switch next to the option Wifi it is already green, you can skip this step. Under the heading "SELECT A NETWORK" you will see the name of the available networks. Tap your preferred network. Doing so will cause the device to start connecting. If you are using a home network and you did not set a password, the password will most likely be written on the base or back of the router. It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. As long as the password is correct, doing so will connect your device to the network. Doing so will open the quick settings menu. Step 2. Press and hold the icon It is usually located in the upper left side of the menu. Doing so will open the Android Wi-Fi settings. Step 3. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the "on" position
Doing so will activate the Wi-Fi. Find the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. If you are using a home network and you did not set a password, the password will most likely be written on the base or back of the router. It's in the lower-right corner of the screen. As long as the password you entered is correct, doing so your Android will connect to the network. Step 1. Click on the icon It's located in the lower-right corner of the taskbar. If you are not yet connected to a network, you will probably see a * above the icon. You may need to click first ^ to see this icon. In order to connect to a network, you must know its password and have permission to connect to it. It's in the lower-right corner of the network name. If you are using a home network and you did not set a password, the password will most likely be written on the base or back of the router. It's in the lower-left corner of the network window. Doing so will connect your computer to the network as long as the password is correct. Step 1. Click on the icon It's at the far right of the menu bar at the top of the screen. If your computer is not connected to a wireless network, the icon will appear blank Doing so will bring up a pop-up window asking for your password. If you are using a home network and you did not set a password, the Wi-Fi password will most likely be written on the base or back of the router. This option is at the bottom of the pop-up menu. As long as the password is correct, your Mac will now connect to the network.
Step 4. Press the name of the network
Step 5. Enter the network password if asked
If the network does not have a password, you will automatically connect when you press its name
Step 6. Click Connect

Step 1. Swipe the screen down from the top

If the network does not have a password, you will automatically connect when you press its name
Step 6. Click Connect
Method 3 of 4: On Windows
Step 2. Click on the name of the network
Step 3. Click Connect
Here you can also check the "Automatically connect" box to have your computer connect to that network whenever it is within range
Step 4. Enter the network password if asked
Step 5. Click Next

Step 2. Click on the name of a network
Step 3. Enter the network password if asked
If the network does not have a password, you will connect automatically when you click on the network name
Step 4. Click Connect
