3 ways to delete a Pinterest board

This wikiHow teaches you how to remove saved Pinterest boards from your profile. You can perform this action from iOS, Android devices, and desktop platforms.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Delete a Pinterest board from an iOS device

Step 1. Open the Pinterest app

It's the red "P" icon located on one of your iPhone or iPad home screens.

If you are not logged into your Pinterest profile, you will need to log in with your email address and password (or your Facebook account)

Step 2. Click on your profile icon

This is the icon in the shape of a person, located in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Press and hold the board you want to remove

Step 4. Drag your finger to the pencil icon

This will open the "Edit" menu.

Step 5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit menu

Step 6. Click Delete

Step 7. Click Delete again when prompted

This will remove the dashboard and all of its content from your account page.

Method 2 of 3: Delete a Pinterest board from an Android device

Step 1. Open the "Pinterest" app

The Pinterest app icon looks like a red "P" on a white background and can be found on one of your Android device's Home screens (or in the App Tray).

If you haven't already signed in to Pinterest, do so with your email address and password (or Facebook account)

Step 2. Click on your profile icon

It's the person-shaped icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Press and hold the board you want to remove

Step 4. Drag your finger to the pencil icon

Doing so will open the "Edit" menu.

You can also tap on the board and then tap the pencil-shaped icon on the screen to do this

Step 5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit menu

Step 6. Click on Delete board

Step 7. Click Delete board again when prompted

Doing so will permanently remove the dashboard and all of its content from your account page.

Method 3 of 3: Delete a Pinterest board from the desktop

Step 1. Open the Pinterest website

If you haven't signed in beforehand, use your preferred email address and password (or Facebook account) to do so.

Step 2. Click on your profile icon

This is the person-shaped icon in the upper-right corner of the web page.

Step 3. Find the board you want to delete

Step 4. Click on the gray pencil icon located on the selected board

This option will be at the bottom of the dashboard icon.

Step 5. Click Delete

It's in the lower-left corner of the Dashboard's Edit window.

Step 6. Click Delete Board again

Doing so will permanently remove the selected board from your Pinterest page.

Advice

You can delete secret boards in the same way that you delete regular boards. The only difference is that the secret boards will be at the bottom of your screen instead of grouped with the rest of the boards (applicable only with the desktop method)
