How to Create a Samsung Account: 12 Steps (With Pictures)

This wikiHow teaches you how to create a new Samsung account with an email address and password using an Android device.

Step 1. Open the Settings app

Find and tap the icon

You can also slide down the notification bar at the top of the screen and press the icon

Step 2. Press the Cloud and accounts option

Go down and look for the option Cloud and accounts in the Settings menu and open it.

Step 3. Click Accounts in the Cloud & Accounts menu

This action will open a list of all the app accounts saved on the Galaxy device.

Step 4. Scroll down and click Add account

This button is located next to the green icon " +"at the bottom of the application list.

Step 5. Press Samsung Account from the menu

This action will open the Samsung account options.

Step 6. Press the CREATE ACCOUNT button

This button is located in the lower left corner of the screen. This action will open the new account form on a new page.

Step 7. Enter an email address for the new account

Press the field Email address and type the email address on the keyboard or paste it from the clipboard.

Step 8. Create a password for the new account

Press the field Password and enter a strong account password for the new Samsung account.

Optionally, you can use fingerprints or irises to confirm the password. In this case, check the box below the Password field

Step 9. Confirm your personal information

You will have to make sure that you have correctly entered your first name, your last name and your date of birth on this page.

Step 10. Click NEXT at the bottom right

You will be prompted to review Samsung's terms and conditions on a new page.

Step 11. Choose the terms you want to accept on the TERMS AND CONDITIONS page

Check the box next to each term you accept.

You can choose I accept everything at the top of the options, but you don't have to accept all of them to create the account.
At a minimum, you will need to agree to the "Terms and Conditions and Special Terms" and the "Samsung Privacy Policy" before you can create your account.

Step 12. Press the ACCEPT button

This button is located in the lower right corner of the screen. This action will create the new Samsung account.
