Saving fonts is an easy thing to do, whether on PCs, Macs or Linux. This process will allow you to use whatever font you choose in your operating system, especially in all Microsoft applications. By downloading or installing downloaded fonts to your fonts folder or file, you will be able to use your downloaded fonts.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Save Fonts to PC

Step 1. Go to "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu

Step 2. Click on "Appearance and Personalization"

Step 3. Click on "See also" in the task panel; and then click on the "Sources" icon

Step 4. Choose the option "Install new fonts" in the "File" menu of the "Fonts" area; and select the disk where you want to place the downloaded fonts with the "Disks" list

Step 5. Double click on the folder that contains the fonts you want to download

Step 6. Select the desired font from the "Fonts" list and click "OK"
Your new fonts have now been saved.
Method 2 of 3: Save Fonts on Mac

Step 1. Download the font package that contains the fonts you want to save; it is usually a compressed.zip file

Step 2. Unzip the.zip file with an expansion program
These programs can be downloaded directly to your Mac from the Internet.

Step 3. Double click on the “Source” file

Step 4. Click the "Install Font" button at the bottom of the preview window
The newly downloaded fonts have already been installed on your Mac and are ready to use in all Microsoft applications.
Method 3 of 3: Save Fonts in Linux

Step 1. Copy the.ttf or.otf font files to the "Fonts: //" directory located in the "File Manager". The fonts should now be stored in your "Fonts" folder. If it doesn't work, go to the next step.

Step 2. Go to the "Start" folder

Step 3. Select the view, and then choose “Show hidden files” from the menu
You will find a hidden folder called ".fonts" or ".fonts". If this folder doesn't appear, you can create one and save the downloaded fonts to the new folder.
