Adobe Acrobat was the first program to support Adobe Systems' Portable Document Format (known as PDF for its acronym in English Portable Document Format). It is a family of programs, some commercial and others free, the Adobe Acrobat Reader program (Now it is called Adobe Reader) is available to download for free from the Adobe website, and allows you to view and print PDF documents. This program is the largest component of the Adobe Engagement Platform, of the Adobe Engagement Platform and extends its use as the standard format to expose text with a clean visual appeal.
Steps

Step 1. Download the Adobe Acrobat Reader program

Step 2. To start downloading the program, click on the "Download now" button

Step 3. Go to the directory where you downloaded the installation file, usually it is on the desktop

Step 4. Double click on the installation file

Step 5. Allow the installation process to complete to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer

Step 6. Restart the computer

Step 7. Start using the program
Advice
- If you want the application for the sole purpose of reading PDF files then the preferred application is Foxit Reader because it is faster to load documents, although it does not have many functions and it is not available in Spanish.
