The GoPro device is an excellent high definition camera that allows you to take photos and videos by easily mounting the camera anywhere. Connecting the camera to a computer can be difficult for some users, but it is actually very easy to connect it to a computer and access its content.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Connect a GoPro Camera to a Computer

Step 1. Turn off the camera
Before you can connect the camera to the computer, you first need to turn it off first. Press and hold the Power button on the front of the camera to turn it off.

Step 2. Find the USB port
Lay the camera on its side to easily locate the USB port.

Step 3. Connect the GoPro camera to your computer
Take the USB cable that came with the camera and plug the mini USB end into the mini USB port on the side of the camera. Plug the USB 2.0 end into any available USB port on your computer.
- It is recommended to connect the camera to the main USB port of your computer which, in the case of computers, is located on the back of the CPU.
- On laptops, it can be any USB port anywhere on the laptop, as long as it is not a USB hub.
Part 2 of 2: Access Camera Content

Step 1. Press the Power button on the GoPro camera
An LED indicator will turn red on the front of the camera, that's when you must press the Power button again to activate USB mode.

Step 2. Access the content of the camera
On your computer, you can access the content by going to the "My Computer" folder in Windows. Look in the removable drives section and click on the camera drive to view its contents.
