Taking a screenshot or "printing the screen" on a Toshiba laptop is an excellent idea for displaying the exact contents of your screen at any given time. You can then export the copied image into an image editing program to save the capture as an image file. To learn how to print your laptop screen, start by reading the steps below.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Turn on the laptop

Step 1. Plug the laptop into a power source
The computer must have enough power to create an image from a screenshot, so take your computer's power cord and connect the smaller end to the laptop's power port (you'll find it on the side). Then plug the other end into an available wall outlet.

Step 2. Turn on the laptop
Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the computer boots. You will notice that it is starting up when the lights and display start to come on.
Just wait until the computer finishes booting and the Windows desktop appears
Part 2 of 3: Capture Screen Content

Step 1. Select the screen content you want to capture
Once you are at the place on the desktop where you want to capture, you can begin with the procedure.

Step 2. Capture the screen content
Press the "Print Screen" button to start copying the screen content. Look for a key that says Print Screen (or PrtScn if your keyboard is in English). This key is usually next to the function keys, which are the F1 through F12 keys.
Pressing the Print Screen button will copy the contents of the screen to the computer clipboard
Part 3 of 3: Save the screenshot
With an image editor as simple as MS Paint, you can do the work of saving the screenshot.

Step 1. Open MS Paint
Click on the Windows orb (the Windows logo circled in blue) in the lower left corner. In the search bar, type "Paint" and click its icon when it appears among the results. Doing so will open this program.

Step 2. Paste the screenshot
When the Paint program opens, a blank canvas will appear. Now you can paste your screenshot there. To do so, just press Ctrl + V.

Step 3. Save the image
Once you are satisfied with the image, you can save it. Click "File" at the top left of the Paint window. A drop-down menu will appear. Click "Save As", and the program will ask you to enter a file name and select the format in which you want to save the image.

Step 4. Give the file a name and choose an image format
You can enter whatever name you want for your image in the "File name" field. Then, in the "Save as" field, you can choose the format you want. It can be JPG, BMP, GIF, and many others. If you are not very sure, choose JPG.
