Do you have a Dell laptop but don't know how much charge it has? Can't turn on your laptop? Are you about to go outside and wait for the taxi? This article will help you with this task!
Steps

Step 1. Take the laptop out of its sleeve

Step 2. Make sure it is off and not in sleep mode

Step 3. Flip the top so you can see the bottom

Step 4. Identify the battery:
newer models have it underneath. Look for a gray or black rectangle. Older models may have it in the front, where you put the CD drives and other things.

Step 5. For newer models that have the battery on the bottom, look in the battery for a white rectangle with 5 lights on it
There will be a button next to the lights. Press it and the lights will come on. The number of lights will give you an estimate of how much battery there is. 5: full, 4: 80%, 3: 60%, 2: 40%, 1: 20% and none: 0%. If it is in the middle, the lights will stay on and the last one will blink. 4 + 1 = 90%, 3 + 1 = 70%, 2 + 1 = 50%, and 1 + 1 = 30%.

Step 6. For older models, remove the battery and look inside where the connector is
It should be the same as the previous one, a small panel with 5 lights on it. Do the same as you did previously.
