This wikiHow article teaches you how to log out of your Snapchat account from the Snapchat app.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Sign out of Snapchat

Step 1. Open the Snapchat application
It's the icon with a white ghost on a yellow background.

Step 2. Swipe down on the camera screen
This will open your user profile page.

Step 3. Click on ⚙️
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Step 4. Scroll down and click Sign out
It's at the bottom of the page.

Step 5. Click Sign out when prompted
Now you should go back to the Snapchat login screen.
Method 2 of 3: Sign out of the account management page

Step 1. Open the Snapchat account management page
You can use this website to manage aspects of your Snapchat account, such as downloading your Snapcode, purchasing geofilters, and changing your password.
By logging out of your account there, you will not log out of the Snapchat app on your mobile device

Step 2. Click ☰
It's in the upper-right corner of the "Manage My Account" screen.

Step 3. Click Sign out
It's at the top of the page. At that time you will have logged out of the account manager.
Method 3 of 3: Delete your Snapchat account

Step 1. Open the Snapchat application
It's a white ghost icon on a yellow background.
- If you are not logged into Snapchat, tap Log in and enter your username (or email) and password.

Step 2. Swipe down on the camera screen
This will open your user profile.

Step 3. Click on ⚙️
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Step 4. Scroll down and click Help
It's at the bottom of the page, in the "More Information" section.

Step 5. Click on My account and settings
It's at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6. Click on the Account Information link
It's at the top of the “My Account & Settings” section.

Step 7. Click on Delete my account

Step 8. Click on the blue link "page"
You'll find it in the first sentence of the second paragraph, which begins with "Go to this page."

Step 9. Enter your password in the "Password" field
It's in the middle of the screen.
You may also need to enter your username in the "Username" field

Step 10. Click Continue
Doing so will deactivate your account for 30 days, at which point your Snapchat account will be deleted.
If you want to cancel the deletion process from then until the end of the 30-day period, simply log in to Snapchat
Advice
- By using your device's screen lock, you can keep your snaps safe from prying eyes.
- If you see a message saying that your Snapchat account has been blocked, you can unblock it from the account management page.
