Sometimes during a presentation at school, you may stutter or hesitate. If you are one of the many people who have stage fright, then try the following.
Steps

Step 1. Get ready
If you go on stage and have NO idea what you are going to say, then you are likely to stutter and stutter. You DO NOT NEED to have a well-written, award-winning speech with excellent spelling (save it for times when you are in competitions and similar contests). Just have a basic idea of what you are going to say. For example, if you are giving a speech about cat behavior, think about three main points, such as neutral behavior, good or happy behavior, and bad behavior that cats can display. Then find three main points about each of those topics.

Step 2. Stay calm
If you despair, you think of all the negative things that could happen and your head is full of sentences that start with "What if", then there is NO WAY you can do it. Believe in yourself! If you think things like "Everything is fine, I know what I'm going to say and I can do EVERYTHING!" right before presenting, then you will be fine!

Step 3. Be positive
If you think things like "I can't do it, I hate speaking in front of people" or "Everyone is going to hate my speech that I've worked on a lot because it's so bad," then you won't be able to do it. However, if you believe in yourself, everyone else will believe in you too.

Step 4. Practice
Practice in front of your mirror and before going on stage. The more you practice, the more fluid and confident you will feel!
