In the Philippines people can say "I love you" in Tagalog. Likewise, Filipinos also speak English or “taglish” (Tagalog mixed with English).
Steps

Step 1. Learn to pronounce the vowels of the Filipino language
- A: pronounced as in "moose", "house". It is a simple "a".
- E: pronounced as in "elephant", "elevator".
- I: pronounced as in "kit", "mass".
- Or: it is pronounced as in "well", "gold".
- U: pronounced as in "spoon", "mule".

Step 2. Learn to say "I love you."
People say "I love you" mainly when they want to tell a person that they love them.
- In Tagalog it is "Mahal kita". "Mahal kita": I love you.
- "Mahal na Mahal kita": I love you very much.

Step 3. Pronounce the phrase
"Mahal" is pronounced as "Ma-hal" where the letter "a" sounds like in "moose" and "house". The letter “i” in “kita” sounds like in “kit” and “misa”.

Step 4. Learn a little more:
- "Nakaka-inlove ka": you make me fall in love. The term "inlove" is an English term.
- "In love ako sayo": I am in love with you.
Advice
- You can say this phrase for fun but not to people who understand it!
- If “someone” says this phrase to you, you can simply reply “Stop walang ganyanan”. It simply means "don't joke with me like that."
